Are you being called
to Cornerstone?
Consider a Cornerstone weekend in 2007.
What is a Cornerstone Retreat?
Cornerstone Retreat ia an oppurtunity to renew and strengthen
your faith while you grow in your experience of Christian
community.
Who will be conducting your Cornerstone
Retreat?
A team of men and women who have previously
attended Cornerstone retreats will be hosting and leading
Cornerstone Retreat 2004.
Team members will give talks on selected
themes or lead small group discussions; others will plan
liturgy and music; and others will arrange your meals
and accommodations. All team members will be dedicated
to ensuring an atmosphere or warmth and hospitality.
What can I expect my Cornerstone
Retreat to be like?
Cornerstone Retreat activities commemence
on Friday evening at 7:00 P.M. Your overnight stay will
take place at the Chruch of the Nativity. Great meals
and plenty of snacks will be provided throughout the Cornerstone
Retreat.
There will be presentations followed
by small group discussions, quiet personal reflection
time, Reconciliation and Eucharist. There will be ample
time to interact with fellow Cornerstone partipants who
are looking to grow spirtually.
Here are some quotes of past
Cornerstone participants.
"Initially, I was hesitant about attending
Cornerstone 2001. I did not know what to expect and remember
saying 'I din't know if it's for me'. It was a peaceful
and welcoming place where I could just listen, or be listened
to."
"It clearly was the most inspirational
28 hrs I have experienced. The new friendships and interaction
with other parishioners was an added bonus. The weekend
was filled with laughter, prayers, tears, good food, jokes,
learning, friendship, and sharing."
"Since my Cornerstone attendance, I
not only have a strong sense of our church from a community
perspective, but it rebuilt my awareness of the amazing
spirt women carry in their souls. I was able to see how
God worked through these women who are truly my Christian
neighbors."
