CARE MINISTRIES

Mission Statement

The mission of Church of the Nativity’s CARE Ministries is to provide all parishioners the
opportunity to “get a hand” and “lend a hand” with the aid of an organized program. The CARE Ministries Program offers parishioners dual participation; sharing our talents while receiving assistance when needed.

Vision Statement

The vision of Nativity’s CARE Ministries is parishioners providing assistance and parishioners accepting assistance to and from each other. This program strives to welcome parishioners to
accept some assistance to make their lives easier. With short-term and periodic commitment opportunities, and basic, quality-of-life assistance, the CARE Ministries program provides us all a place to participate.

The great lesson is that the sacred is found in the ordinary. The sacred is found in one’s daily life, in one’s neighbors, friends, family and in one’s own backyard.
